Chicken Cooking Workshop
Come learn how to work with pastured, whole chickens in your kitchen. We'll cut up a whole one, debone breasts, and have lunch! Participants get their cut up chicken to take home and Amanda's favorite family recipes in a book!

About the event
In this workshop, we will discuss how to get the most out of a whole chicken in your kitchen. It's one of the best ways to save money on poultry at the store or if you're growing your own, you need the skills to make the most out of your own pastured raised chicken setup!
Each participant learns how to cut up an entire chicken, debone breasts, and take home their cuts to use in their own kitchen. In addition, the workshop includes a recipe book including some of Amanda’s family favorites for chicken. We will discuss and walk through recipes like:
- Whole roasted chicken
- Spatchock-style chicken
- Cast iron/sheet pan chicken thighs/breast/legs
- Chicken stock
Lastly, lunch in included! Chicken salad will be on the lunch menu with sourdough bread and other goodies.
